I did not even realize it BUT I’ve been blogging for a whole year!! I remember Genuine trying to convince me to have a blog. I kept telling him that I couldn’t write. I would be too embarrassed. He kept prodding and asking. So I gave in! It’s all his fault! SMOOCHES Genuine.
Happy Anniversary to me to me to me!! It’s a belated anniversary but none the less one year has passed. Where has the time gone?!

Is the enjoyment of coffee the cup or the caffeine? A point to ponder today.

Kind of a funny story why I chose this name!
I’m going through my certifications to become a Doula! A Doula is a support coach for women in labor. I should have figured out that I loved helping women give birth after the 32nd birth I attended! Funny thing is that I remember all of the experiences and loved being there and being a support.
I chose Hula because I feel like I’ve finally found my nitch. (and because it rhymed!) I never finished college because I couldn’t find a job that I could be passionate about. All I ever wanted to be was a mother and a wife. Love that! I am that! Goal accomplished! Now to the next level.
I am married to a wonderful man that I met in high school. Hula Hubby is the love of my life. We have 2 wonderful children that are our gifts.
Hula Girl (Daddy’s Princess) is now in school. She loves it and is biting at the chomp to do summer vacation! Her favorite things are anything frilly! She’s not a tom boy at all.
Hula Boy (AKA Busy Boy) is into everything possible and keeps me on my toes! His favorite things are “MIMI” (Nemo) and “LALA” (Elmo). I can say for a fact that I was not prepared for perpetual motion! He doesn’t have an off switch!
Macy Mae is the kanine crazy of the family. She is worse than the kids some days. She’s a very active Border Collie, German Shepherd mix. She has almost as much energy as Hula boy!
Pooter is the old feline. He’s been with us 14 years. I think he’s gone through most of his cat lives. Between Hula Boy and Macy Mae I’m shocked that he hasn’t ran away from home!
Velvet Sun Sun is our fish. Yes Hula Girl named her 3 years ago. I received Velvet as a Christmas gift and he has outlived himself. He’s a beta and 3 1/2 years old and still kicking.
That’s the clan! I look forward to blab blab blabbing!
Eventually as I learn this blogging thing I will post pictures.
